Our People
Lindsey Ford
Director
Lindsey Ford began serving as Program Director of Henry County RSVP in November 2021. For nearly five years, she managed the program’s day-to-day operations while coordinating volunteers, developing community partnerships, administering the grant, overseeing reporting and compliance, and helping connect older adults with meaningful opportunities to serve. In June 2026, the program expanded from Henry County into Des Moines and Louisa counties and became Southeast Iowa RSVP. Lindsey led the transition and expansion, including developing the infrastructure and partnerships needed to serve the three-county area and grow the program from a one-person operation into a three-person team.
As Program Director, Lindsey provides overall leadership for Southeast Iowa RSVP, including grant administration and reporting, staff supervision, program development, community partnerships, fiscal oversight, and the continued expansion of RSVP services throughout Henry, Des Moines, and Louisa counties. She especially enjoys finding ways to connect people’s gifts, experiences, and passions with opportunities to make a difference in their communities. Lindsey holds a degree in Organizational Studies and a Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership and Philanthropy from the University of Iowa and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry with a concentration in Social Justice and Advocacy at Saint Paul School of Theology in Kansas City. She is also a United Methodist licensed local pastor. Outside of work and school, Lindsey enjoys spending time with family and friends, singing karaoke, exploring her creative side, and finding any excuse for good conversation and laughter.
